Young Leaders Day

On Monday of Week 8 the student leaders of the school went to the National Young Leaders Day.
It was a chance to be inspired by speakers and learn from them about leadership.

The speakers for the day gave some notable quotes. Here are the speakers and the student leaders favourite quotes from them.

Mike Martin -  "Influence is like food, taste before you take it in."

Creel Price - "Set a goal and don't let anything get in your way."

Commissioner Burns (Commissioner of the SA Police) - "Don't focus on what you want to be in the future, focus on the impact you want to make in the present."

Natalie Von Bertouch (Australian Netball Captain - "Team comes before yourself."

Ruben Meerman (Surfer/Scientist) - "Everybody leads, everybody follows."

The Student leaders look forward to using the leadership qualities they learnt about around the school to help other.
